Question about Wirewin RJ11 to RJ45 telephone cable
Can I connect the phone directly to my switch and it will work? I used to have the phone on the router's phone port. Now planned via an Ethernet port of the router-wall switch.
Not true. I have now connected an RJ 11 cable and it works.
Only pure VoIP telephones can be connected via the Ethernet switch, i.e. telephones that also have an RJ45 connection.
