Can I connect the HP ProDesk 600 G4 (Art. 9307674) via USB-C cable and connect all other peripherals (2nd monitor, ext. HD, printer, mouse, keyboard, ...) to this monitor and it works (incl. power supply)? Could I do this analogously with a laptop with USB-C and thus simply switch the USB-C cable between laptop and desktop to switch from one to the other device?
You can solve everything via USB-C cable, which is still sexy. In my case, the monitor charges the connected notebook, transmits the video signal and USB is also available. Everything via one cable.
The second monitor is then connected to the first monitor via DisplayPort. (There is a DisplayPort output and a setting that has to be made). The connected devices must support MST / DaisyChain.
I'm not quite sure if the HP ProDesk 600 G4 supports USB-C power, I didn't find anything in the datasheet. If the HP ProDesk 600 G4 supports it, then it would receive power from the monitor.
Another thing to say: The resolution is ok, but not exactly breathtaking.
