Can I buy an additional headset extension cable somewhere? Because with the cheaper version (without virtual surround) there is an additional 2m cable. And I need that.

you don't need an extension cable for the ps4 because the jack plug is connected to the controller.

It is important to make sure that it is a 4-pin cable otherwise the microphone will not work.
