You can basically use the monitor with the PS5, but there are limitations: The PS5 does not support a native 1440p ultrawide format, so black bars will appear on the sides when playing on the 21:9 monitor. The refresh rate is limited to a maximum of 100 Hz via HDMI, as the PS5 does not have a DisplayPort output to enable 120 Hz. FreeSync does not work on the PS5 as this technology was developed for AMD graphics cards and the PS5 does not use AMD components. HDR is available, but the HDR performance of the monitor is limited and not comparable to a 4K TV.
