For this, you need the Sonos Controller App under Windows, Android or iOS.
In this app, you can add any NAS shares as a library.
You can then stream any music or albums from the NAS to the Playbase via the Controller App.
I have a Playbase with 2x Play 1 as a surround configuration. The sound is very good.
