Question about Nokia 8 Sirocco

had asked the CH repair centre for Nokia (see Digitec->guarantee): not repairable! Or for 500.-- (a new one) Should never have bought such an irreparable phone, should boycott... but yes...

The display is indeed a weak point (far from Gorialla), but iTek in Zurich offers a cheap and clean repair.

It's funny that there are providers on the Internet who will repair it for CHF200. Why doesn't anyone contact Nokia? Or use the providers on the Internet. They also don't repair most smartphones that are sealed and waterproof. You have to get on your nerves about that in general and not about one manufacturer.

Display damage on the Sirocco is or is a total loss. If you have additional insurance, contact the insurance company. Send it in. Then wait 2-3 weeks. You will receive the message "Total damage". Digitec will send you a new one. If you have it from Digitec. Excess 80Chf. which you have to pay to the insurance company. The insurance company will pay Digitec for an equivalent or new Sirocco.

It is best to take it to the place where you bought it, e.g. Digitec, so that they can send it to your repair centre or the manufacturer for repair!
