Can anyone recommend an Oculus Quest Link compatible USB cable on digitec.ch?
Hy, yes i can! it works fine for me!
this here:
Aukey USB Type-C Nylon (A - C, 2m, 3.0)
combined with this:
Club 3D USB 3.0 (A - A, 5m, 3.0)
so I have 7m interference-free and highspeed and still cheaper than the original cable.
Something has happened with the Oculus Quest as far as cables are concerned:

SHORT: the charging cable can be used as a link cable.
Have fun guys!
Where can I get the official long link cable in Switzerland? Which USB-A to USB-C adapter can someone recommend?
I use this for extension which works well: Lindy Active Extension (C - C, 5m, 3.1)
Hello.
My rig is an i9 9900k on an Asus ROG Strix Z390 Gaming-E, 32GB of 3600MHz RAM and an ASUS GeForce RTX 2080S ROG STRIX O8G (8GB). MLB & GPU have a USB-C 3.1 interface, though I tested it on both. Tried a total of 3 cables and only hit the toilet once:
- Belkin THUNDERBOLT 3 CABLE 40 GBPS 5A (C - C, 2m, 3.1) doesn't work.
Link: Belkin THUNDERBOLT 3 CABLE 40 GBPS 5A (C - C, 2m, 3.1)
Has bandwidth and current load, but passes USB as USB2.
Thunderbolt 3 cables are useless for oculusLink.
However, 2 other cables have worked on both USB-C ports:
- Sandberg USB-C to USB-C (C - C, 2m, 3.1).
Link: Sandberg USB-C to USB-C (C - C, 2m, 3.1)
Somewhat stiff cable, can handle a little less power, sometimes had the impression that the cable shows compression
compression artefacts. However, close to the Belkin:
- Belkin monitor cable (C - C, 2m, 3.1)
Link: Belkin monitor cable (C - C, 2m, 3.1)
More expensive than the Sanberg, but seems more stable overall despite the fact that it's thicker. My favourite.
goobay USB 3.0 Superspeed(2m):
goobay USB 3.0 SuperSpeed (A - C, 2m, 3.0)
+ Wirewin USB 3.0 Extender(3m):
Wirewin USB 3.0 (A - A, 3m, 3.0)
Works perfectly. Tried a few games and didn't notice any latency. Resolution was not downgraded. The Oculus software shows that the sound cannot be transmitted, but you can still hear it (I don't know if this is due to the cable).
