Hello.
My rig is an i9 9900k on an Asus ROG Strix Z390 Gaming-E, 32GB of 3600MHz RAM and an ASUS GeForce RTX 2080S ROG STRIX O8G (8GB). MLB & GPU have a USB-C 3.1 interface, though I tested it on both. Tried a total of 3 cables and only hit the toilet once:
- Belkin THUNDERBOLT 3 CABLE 40 GBPS 5A (C - C, 2m, 3.1) doesn't work.

Has bandwidth and current load, but passes USB as USB2.
Thunderbolt 3 cables are useless for oculusLink.
However, 2 other cables have worked on both USB-C ports:
- Sandberg USB-C to USB-C (C - C, 2m, 3.1).

Somewhat stiff cable, can handle a little less power, sometimes had the impression that the cable shows compression
compression artefacts. However, close to the Belkin:
- Belkin monitor cable (C - C, 2m, 3.1)

More expensive than the Sanberg, but seems more stable overall despite the fact that it's thicker. My favourite.
