Yes, it works. Tried with Cafe Royal, Real Cafe, Ricklis, Volg, Karoma, Ethical Coffee, M-Budget and others. However, the capsule guide is only made of plastic and could be damaged if the compatible capsules do not fit exactly. It happened to me once with an older Latissima.

Yes, all Nespresso-compatible capsules can be used. Also those from other suppliers.
