According to Lenovo, the display works via USB Type-C 3.2 Gen1 (DP1.2 Alt Mode). I suspect that the connection on the laptop may not support this DisplayPort Alt Mode. USB is unfortunately a bit confusing in this area :(

I use the display on a Lenovo Yoga X1 Gen7 via USB-C Thunderbolt™ 4 connection without any problems.

Is it possible that the output signal is not working, i.e. your laptop is not sending a signal? Try another screen or check the display settings (duplicate or expand).
