Am I the only one who has the problem that at NC level 10 you can still hear voices, your own hand clapping, snapping etc.? I had the headphones replaced because I thought the NC wasn't working properly, but it's exactly the same now with the 2nd pair. Is this normal? With the Bose QC 35 you can't hear anything as soon as you switch on the NC.
NC does not filter everything, that is normal. The NC from the Bose 700's is one of the best on the market, the one from the Sony 1000xm3's is still a little better, but the difference is small. For a good comparison: https://youtu.be/G7l8MU8Em5... at 12:05
So there is no question of complete noise suppression at level 10. I still hear voices, no matter how the NC is switched on. In my opinion, this is a mistake. These are my first headphones with NC, so I have no direct comparison. But if there are any with total noise cancellation, I will have my headphones exchanged.
Yes, if you have ANC at 0 and then select 10 by pressing a button, it does not work. Either use the app or briefly press through all favourites until you are back at 10.
