Are these headphones waterproof?
Hi,
The headset is not waterproof. If water or other foreign bodies get into the device, this can cause damage. If you notice that it has become wet, it is best to stop using it immediately and contact your local Sony dealer.
You should be particularly careful in the following situations:
- Near water, such as at the sink or near filled containers.
- In rain, snow or high humidity.
- If you wear it during sport and work up a sweat.
- Wet hands or a damp bag can also damage the headset.

No - which I can confirm from personal, painful & involuntary experience. At best, they are somewhat "tolerant" of splash water.
Up to a certain point. I wouldn't take it into the bathtub....
