Ciao Maddin, have gone through 4 of them. Gears 2021, 2023 and 2024, all diffs and axles are plastic. Only the pins are made of metal. The weak point on the model are the battery strands - they lose tension. If you try to bend them, they break. This happens with numbers 1, 2 and 3. 4 is currently holding 😁
