Question about Intertech IPC 4U-4724 4HE STORAGE

The backplane is 6 Gbps, but this is not necessarily clear on the manufacturer's website. However, there is an upgrade kit: https://www.inter-tech.de/productdet... . The description clearly states that this kit replaces the original 6 Gbps backplane. However, the kit costs a good 300 - 400 €. So I would do the maths to see if you regularly have scenarios where the throughput on the disks is actually the limiting factor.
