are the apps for the xiaomi devices obtained from the google play store or can only apps from xiaomi be used?

Helpful answer

Apps can be obtained and updated via the Google Play Store. Apps from Xiaomi (system apps) are loaded separately. This applies to my Xiaomi Redmi 7A, but should also be the case with the Mi 9 Lite.
