also usable with dsc-hx50v? is manual zoom change also taken into account in the optical zoom?

I can only agree with claus.munk. The FDA-EV1MK optical viewfinder works perfectly with the HX50V and I wouldn't want to do without it, despite the very high price. It is indispensable, especially in bright sunlight.

Yes to both questions. Since the HX50V doesn't have its own optical viewfinder, this accessory is great, especially in difficult lighting conditions. I find the price very high, but it was worth it for me and I wouldn't want to do without it again.
