After the Nvidia 30xx serie presentation 01-Sep, shouldn't the pricing of all 20xx cards be updated. As it looks now the 3070 outperforms the 2080 with a much lower price. This would be in Digitec's interest also. There will otherwise be a lot of 20xx card buyers that want to return those cards

Until RTX 30xx cards will be impossible to find at a normal price, I don't think anybody is interested in lowering the older cards prices. You have no choice if you're bulding a new pc for now and want a top tier card. I expect the price to be lower only after the new cards will be available again and maybe after the launch of amd's new cards, which should happen today.
Personally, I want to build a PC to play Cyberpunk, which has been delayed again to december 10th, allowing me to wait for the ASUS RTX 3080 OC, the new ASUS Dark Hero and the new RYZEN 5950X.
