After I did a CMOS reset, the PC (Windows 7) asks for a new Bios Config. The keyboard does not respond even with the PS2 adapter, what now?
That is the problem with the new keyboard. They don't react before Windows loads the drivers.
I have an old white Microsoft keyboard in the cupboard especially for this. In any case, I have to reconnect it when I want to access the Bios.
The PS2 adapter doesn't help much because the drivers are not yet loaded in the Bios.
You won't get anywhere without an old keyboard. Sorry. If you have one, simply load the default settings and reboot, then everything will work normally again.
PS: The old keyboard can also have USB (mine does).
did you perform a BIOS update? what can you select after the BIOS config message? what is the exact message?
It is difficult to say. It could be that the connections on the mainboard are not active or that there is a problem with the drivers. Does another keyboard or mouse work?
