Accuracy GPS - is a BCM47755 chip built in this model? | GPS - in this model is built in a BCM47755 chip?
The Xiaomi 8 and 9 series in the Pro version are supposed to have a BCM47755 chipset? Among others, the "Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro" smartphone is available in Switzerland (from 2019). The BCM47755 should be able to see the following satellites:
BeiDou B1 (China)
Galileo E1 (Europe)
Galileo E5a
GLONASS L1 (Russia)
GPS L1 C/A (USA)
GPS L5
QZSS L1 (Japan)
QZSS L5
I am not a techy - I have only copied/researched this information/data.
Whether there is an Android app that reads the chipset - I did not find it. There may be a workaround that makes it possible to verify whether a BCM47755 is in this device. Simply start the GPSTest [bit.ly/2UUz4nE] app. If loud triangles AND round circles AND squares (the AND is important) appear in the graphic, then you can be sure that the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro can read all these frequencies. Why this accuracy matters? There are many applications - mine, for example, is that a professional DSLR often doesn't have GPS built in. Combined with a BT smartphone that provides accurate location data, my photos can be accurately positioned on a map 8-) @lil_brains - thanks for looking! LG
Can you check it in the system?
I own the device and would check for you.
