A great monitor. However, I have the problem that the monitor does not "start" by itself, or as soon as I start a laptop via USB C and the cable connection already exists, I first have to open the laptop and switch the Philips on/off so that it makes a picture transfer. Is this due to the settings?

I have the same problem. I couldn't find anything about it in the settings. 
I have reconnected the monitor to HDMI and it works.
