I wanted to buy for 600 chf, but I got the low-quantity surcharge displayed and googled it. I will now make my total purchase elsewhere. I deeply detest such practices. BYE BYE
Oh yes, and it just so happens that it's also CHF 9.-- at another major online retailer in Switzerland... but that's just it: There are also other online retailers, do some googling and you can avoid this annoying surcharge :-)
Basically, I don't think a surcharge for small quantities is justified.
I can still understand it to some extent when it comes to postal delivery, and many online shops handle it that way.
But when you collect the goods, the CHF 9.00 is also charged.
I don't pay a surcharge at the bakery if I only buy a loaf of bread for CHF 2.50...
According to Digitec support, the cost of collecting the goods is the same as sending them by post.
Who believes it...
I was also excited about the surcharge. But imagine 100,000 people ordering a product worth 5.- €.
Then the personnel costs, packaging material and shipping costs still have to be covered. I would be curious if you, as CEO, would still like to sell such products if you have to add 50 centimes per order to the bottom line with such order volumes.
Always imagine it was your own business...and believe me, you would also make an effort to earn money.
I ordered speakers in November 2017 for 22.80 - my only order under 50.- in the last 24 months - and did not pay any surcharge. When, how and where exactly is this supposed to have been introduced "a long time ago"? I realise that at the current prices (for all suppliers in the market) there are no more large margins. But can't there simply be shipping costs for small order quantities? With today's processes, it should be a small matter to carry an item more or less on the bus to e.g. St. Gallen. In my opinion, this surcharge should be eliminated for pick-up.

I'm seeing this for the first time today! Digitec and Galaxus can go to hell, then I order everything at brack.ch !!!
Since Digitec and Galaxus belong to MIGROS, it's all about profit!
You can tell your explanations on glaxus Wiki to Father Christmas, you make millions in profit, so shut up Digitec and Galaxus and don't give me anything from the stork!
We also have no sympathy with you, you are just a company and not a person, so from now on BUUUH DIGITC!!!!
