Question about WD My Book

3 days ago the My Book 18TB NTFS model was on sale for 293 chf by Galaxus (that is 16.30 frs/TB). Now it is only available from an external supplier, much more expensive (361 chf). Will Galaxus reintroduce it in its range? When will this happen? Technical aspects (should be specified by Galaxus Digitec!): type of WD drive inside (Blue, Red?) Disk speed? Internal SATA interface accessible? Indeed, in case of failure of the USB 3.0 interface, it is useful to be able to access the SATA interface of the disk to recover the data if necessary. This is no longer the case, for example, with the WD Elements Portable 2.5" drives, where there is no longer a SATA port on the drive (a cost-saving measure that will render a drive whose USB 3.0 interface alone is defective unrecoverable. Bad point for the manufacturer! This should also be included in the Digitec Galaxus specifications)

You should normally be able to select Digitec Galaxus as a supplier via the "All suppliers" tab (under specifications).
Also, the manufacturer's datasheet does not specify what type of drive this My Book is equipped with or whether the SATA interface is available. We are sorry about that.
If we refer to the comments left by previous buyers: "It is a WD White labeled, but the product code is WD Blue...".
For all intents and purposes, you can find the brand's contact information here: https://www.westerndigital.com/en-ie...
