1. is the fan hub included? 2. if I connect 6 fans to the hub, does it take up 6 fan slots on the mainboard or how does such a fan hub work?

Everything was included with me. The solution uses a SATA power connector, an internal USB port and a FAN port. The fans are then all connected to the hub and not to the MoBo.
