@ digitec: Does this device have Thunderbolt or not? According to the description YES. In the connections NO. One customer writes 34UC87C-B NO TB // 34UC87-B WITH TB. I can't find the latter here.
The 34UC87C-B does not have a Thunderbolt port. The 34UC87-B would have one, but Digitec probably no longer offers it at the moment.
The LG 34UC87 is equipped with two Thunderbolt™ 2 ports and is therefore perfectly equipped for high-speed data transfer. The UltraWide monitor can be connected directly to a Mac or Pegasus2 RAID storage systems via the two ports. Especially when editing and using 4K content, this brings a big advantage: the data transfer is more than 4 times faster than USB 3.0, so your data is displayed quickly and smoothly.
