Question about LaCie 2big Dock
- Are all LaCie 2big docks identical except for the storage capacity (so do all the following answers apply to each model)? - Can the drives be formatted with APFS? - What do I see in the Finder on the Mac - two independent hard drives or one large hard drive? - Can each displayed disc be partitioned as desired? - Is daisychaining (on Thunderbolt 2) possible without any problems?

- Yes, all 2big docks are the same, only capacity is different.
- APFS possible, but HFS+ partly more stable for HDD.
- In the Finder depending on the mode: RAID 0/1 = 1 volume, JBOD = 2 volumes.
- Partitioning is possible, depending on the RAID setup.
- Daisy-chaining possible with TB3/TB2 adapter, bandwidth is shared.
