Unlike conventional reservoirs, the Alphacool Eisball showcases a spherical design. The 22 digital RGB LEDs, which run completely around the equator of the Eisball in a chrome ring, provide versatile and optimal lighting. The Alphacool Eisbecher Helix 250 is a visual highlight of the Eisbecher family. The helix inside the reservoir creates a special effect reminiscent of a DNA strand, making it a true eye-catcher. In the center of the reservoir, there is a UV cathode tube powered by a 3-pin connector. When UV-reactive water is used, it produces a strong glow from within the container, creating a truly impressive effect.

The bottom and the lid are made entirely of acetal but are covered by aluminum caps for an elegant look. The aluminum caps do not come into contact with the water. The connection options are extensive, with three G1/4" threads located in both the lid and the bottom. Additionally, there are two more G1/4" connection options on the side of the bottom. This allows for various mounting positions. Two different mounting sets are included: the aluminum brackets known from the Eisbecher series, which align flush with the top and bottom of the Eisbecher Helix and allow for mounting the reservoir on a radiator. This requires a 240 mm or 280 mm radiator or a larger counterpart, such as a 360 mm or 420 mm radiator. Alternatively, clip mounts are provided, which can be secured to the case with a screw. The Eisbecher Helix can simply be clipped in here, offering flexible options for mounting.
