Top-rated products in the Fan controllers category

Here's a ranking of the top rated products in this category. To give you a quick overview, we've also added some key information about the products.

1. Noctua NA-FC1 Fan Controller

The NA-FC1 is a compact, highly flexible controller for 4-pin PWM fans. It can be used both independently for manual speed control and in combination with the automatic fan control of PC motherboards. Using the central rotary knob, users can either manually set a PWM duty cycle from 0 to 100% or reduce the duty cycle sent by the motherboard to make the fans run slower than what the motherboard's automatic control allows. The brightness of the orange status LED provides visual feedback on the current setting of the controller, and the push button can activate the "No Stop" mode, ensuring that the fan does not drop below a speed of 300 rpm. Thanks to the included adapter cables, up to 3 fans can be controlled simultaneously and powered directly through the power supply.

2. Aqua Computer SPLITTY9 Splitter for up to 9 fans or aquabus devices

SPLITTY9 is a universal 9-pin splitter and can be used for 3-pin fans, 4-pin PWM fans or as aquabus splitter. When used as a splitter for a fan output, the white plug of the splitter labeled "input" is connected to the fan output using the cable supplied. Supply voltage and PWM signal are passed on to all nine black connectors, additionally the tacho signal of the connector labeled "rpm" is fed back to the fan output. When used as a splitter for the aquabus, the white plug of the splitter labeled "input" is connected to the aquabus connection of an aquaeros using the supplied cable. By setting the jumper to the "aquabus" position, all four aquabus lines are forwarded to all nine black plugs. Both 4-pin aquabus devices and 3-pin aquabus devices can be connected to the splitter. the splitter can be attached to the housing using self-adhesive Velcro straps. alternatively, four mounting holes are available.

3. Phanteks Universal PWM fan hub

Part of the accessories catalogue of the renowned case manufacturer Phanteks is the PWM fan hub offered here, which finds its place on the back of mainboard trays in cases. The function of the PWM fan hub is as unique as it is ingenious: out-of-the-box, up to eight 3-pin fans can be controlled like PWM fans. To do this, connect the supplied 4-pin PWM cable to a 4-pin fan header on the motherboard and connect the SATA power cable to the power supply. Now up to three 3-pin and five 4-pin fans can be connected directly to the hub.

All properties at a glance:
Phanteks stroke for five 4-pin and three 3-pin fans
Controllable via mainboard or wired remote control
Power supply via SATA cable
Cable and mounting material included

4. Lamptron SP105 Stroke

If you want to operate many fans in your case or on your bench table, you no longer need to search for a suitable hub with the right number of connections. Lamptron has developed a hub specifically for such cases, allowing up to ten PWM fans to be connected. The hub receives the PWM signal from the motherboard, and the power supply is provided either via a SATA or a Molex connector from the power supply unit. 3-pin connectors can also be connected to the hub.

6. Deepcool SC700 Black

The DeepCool SC700 12-port ARGB hub can power numerous 5V ARGB components simultaneously while occupying only one 3-pin header on a motherboard or controller.

12-port
addressable RGB hub
The SC700 connects to a single 3-pin 5V addressable RGB header on a motherboard or controller and extends up to 12 ARGB components for lighting synchronization. The included SATA interface provides stable continuous power for all your lighting components.

The compact and sturdy case is also magnetic, allowing it to be conveniently tucked away behind the motherboard tray or positioned anywhere else.

Supports ASUS Aura, GIGABYTE Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, and ASRock Polychrome. This product is not compatible with 12V 4-pin RGB devices.

7. Aqua Computer Quadro

The Quadro is an innovative four-channel RGB controller for controlling Aqua Computer's RGBpx series of LED strips and also a PWM controller for four fans. In addition, four temperature sensors can be connected. The Quadro is connected to an appropriately equipped motherboard via USB 2.0 header. Configuration is then carried out via the aquasuite software.

8. Akasa FC.Six

To adapt the cooling performance and noise level of the PC to personal and changing requirements, fan controllers allow direct access to the fan speed. The PC accessory specialist Akasa offers several such solutions for the 3.5 or 5.25-inch bays of a case. The FC.Six is a controller designed for the 5.25-inch bay. It is particularly suitable for cases with a brushed aluminum front, as it is made from the same material. However, even when combined with other materials, this elegantly designed fan controller in black, featuring blue LEDs over the individual channels, is likely to be an aesthetic enhancement.

In terms of functionality, the FC.Six is impressive, as it allows for the regulation of fan speeds on up to six channels, even down to complete standstill. Each channel provides a high output of up to 20 watts, enabling multiple fans to be operated in parallel using a Y-cable. The FC.Six itself connects to the power supply via a four-pin Molex connector. The package includes a manual and screws for mounting in a free 5.25-inch slot. Before purchasing, it should be noted that the knobs of the fan controller protrude 10.2 millimeters, which may prevent the front door of cases from closing properly.

9. Phobya 4Pin PWM to 4x 4Pin splitter

With this PWM splitter from Phobya it is possible to power up to 4 PWM fans at the same time and to transfer the PWM signal of the first fan to all 4 fans. This makes sense for large radiators, for example.

The splitter is very compact and can easily be accommodated in the housing. The adhesive tape on the back allows the board to be attached anywhere in the housing, but optionally also with two screws on the outside holes.

10. Noctua NA-FH1 8x Fan Hub

The NA-FH1 is a high-quality, efficiently protected 8-channel PWM fan hub that enables the operation and control of up to eight PWM fans simultaneously via a PWM motherboard connection or standalone controllers like the optional NA-FC1. Fans without PWM can be regulated by adjusting the input voltage. The NA-FH1 supports both 12V and 5V fans with 4-pin PWM and 3-pin connectors, making it extremely flexible and suitable for both PC environments and other 12V or 5V-based applications. Power can be supplied either through the S-ATA input (for 12V fans, up to 54W) or the 4-pin PWM input (for 5V and 12V fans, up to 24W). Both connections are protected by a self-resetting fuse against overcurrent, ensuring maximum safety even in the event of short circuits in connected devices or cables. The two ports can be used simultaneously, with power automatically supplied via S-ATA and RPM and PWM signals exchanged through the 4-pin interface. White status LEDs allow for easy monitoring, and thanks to the magnetic mount, installing the NA-FH1 in a PC case or on any other steel surface is a breeze. Completed with CE, UKCA, and UL certifications, full compliance with all applicable safety standards, and a 6-year manufacturer's warranty, the NA-FH1 is a safe, reliable premium solution for powering and controlling up to eight fans.
