9. Zoom Ssh-6
The SSH-6 is a mid-side stereo shotgun microphone capsule for the Zoom H5 and H6 recorders. In addition to the highly directional shotgun microphone in the center, the SSH-6 features a bidirectionally oriented side microphone to capture sounds from the left and right. You can adjust the stereo width to your liking by changing the volume of the side microphone in the same way as with the MSH-6. If you use the RAW mode, you can also modify the stereo width after recording. This function is particularly useful when you want to specifically record a certain sound source with the shotgun microphone and later mix in the ambient sounds from the side microphone.
