With this 1/4 inch camera mounting screw, you can attach your photo equipment such as cameras or camcorders to quick release plates. The screw is simply screwed in from the bottom into the quick release plate and then fastened with the 1/4 inch thread of your device. Frequent mounting and dismounting of cameras from tripods, for example when using different cameras, can often be time-consuming and disruptive. This issue can be resolved by using a quick-release plate. These plates are attached to the camera body via the existing threaded screw (usually 1/4 inch) and remain on the camera afterward. With a length of 52 mm, this quick-release plate is also well-suited for larger and heavier cameras.
The easy-to-use locking mechanism of the plate on the tripod head allows the camera to be quickly and effortlessly mounted or removed from the tripod head. This quick-release plate is compatible with Manfrotto MA200 PL-14 plates and many walimex and mantona tripods. Please note that this plate is not compatible with Manfrotto 200PL plates.

6. Walimex flexible mount gooseneck XL
The XL Swan Neck from walimex pro is a practical aid for the "floating" attachment of compact flashes, cameras, reflectors, and much more. The flexible mount can be bent in any direction, features a connector with a 1/4 inch thread, and is suitable for attachment to 3/8 inch spigots.

The quick-release plate for the Walimex pro Advanced 173 SH video tripod is exactly the same design as the original plate included with the tripod. It is easily screwed onto the camera body using the included 1/4 inch camera screw and remains attached to the camera. The camera screw can be tightened through the slot on the bottom with a coin or a flathead screwdriver.
The rubber coating on the top of the quick-release plate reliably prevents the camera from slipping and ensures a secure hold for your equipment. The additional rubber plug on the bottom helps prevent the loss of the camera screw during transport or when not in use.

A quick-release plate (also referred to as a camera plate or quick clamp plate) is a commonly used and very helpful accessory in photography and videography for tripod heads and the cameras or recording devices mounted on them.
