The Light Box 30x120 is a Bowens Mount Narrow Rectangular Softbox with a front aperture of 30x120cm. Its surface area and slim form factor make it ideal for transforming hard point-source Bowens Mount LED lights into clean, linear edge lights and key lights for portrait and product photography, including lights such as the Aputure LS 120d, LS 300, and LS 600 series, as well as the amaran COB 60/100/200 series.

The Light Box 30x120 also includes two diffusion strengths, both 1.5 and 2.5 stops, as well as an inner baffle allowing users to fine-tune their intensity and light quality. The included 45° light control grid allows photographers and videographers to control the spread of the diffused light directly onto their subjects.

The three lenses for the Spotlight Mount were designed with professionals in mind. In addition to allowing the 120d II to produce 10 times its original output, the high-resolution lenses produce an even beam of light, with minimal light falloff on the edges, while maintaining a shift in color temperature of less than 200 degrees Kelvin. The Spotlight Mount’s new lens technology minimizes chromatic aberrations around the edge of the illumination circle. Compared to similar ellipsoidal fixtures, the Spotlight Mount significantly decreases its edge color fringing to a mere 1mm at a distance of 5 meters. Like typical ellipsoidal lights, the Spotlight Mount also offers simple user-interchangeability between Aputure’s 19°, 26°, and 36° lenses, whether you need a wider illumination circle or pinpoint accuracy.

Combined with the internal shutters, filmmakers will be able to gain more control of the shape of their light. With the included B-size Gobos, Gobo Holder, and gel frame the Spotlight Mount allows for even further light manipulation, to easily project any shape or color you can think of. The optional removable iris also allows filmmakers to further hone in the shape and size of the Spotlight Mount’s light output. The Spotlight Mount’s dual slot design allows filmmakers to use both their Gobos and iris simultaneously. In line with Aputure’s other high-quality lighting modifiers, the Spotlight Mount maintains the philosophy of versatility and modularity by utilizing the Bowens mount, for use with the 120d Mark II and 300d lights. The new design features two optical elements, a larger 6" Fresnel front lens, improved ventilation and minimized light leakage, making it the ultimate Bowens Mount Fresnel. The Fresnel 2X has a double lens design. The rear lens focuses and enlarges the beam onto the larger 6" Fresnel front lens, which prevents light loss. The optical double lens design makes the Fresnel 2X twice as powerful as the original Aputure Fresnel and makes the 120D II up to 14 times brighter and breathes new life into your luminaires. Using a new rotating drum design, the Fresnel 2X creates an intuitive user interface similar to a camera lens.
