The DT-04 NXGEN is the logical evolution of the TAMIYA Fighter Buggy models and serves as the entry-level buggy for aspiring racers. Since 1996, TAMIYA has set the standard in the entry-level segment and the RC car scene with the Fighter Buggies. The DT-04 is based on the proven foundation of the DT-03 but has been revised in many areas. NXGEN stands for "Next-Generation," representing the latest generation of Fighter 2WD buggies. This model features many innovations both technically and aesthetically: its design is inspired by popular single-seater American racing buggies with 2WD rear-wheel drive. TAMIYA achieves this with pre-colored white plastic parts, eliminating the need for painting. The kit can be assembled in two color variants, and the driver figure with a helmet makes the Fighter a real eye-catcher. Technically, the NXGEN offers a new three-part steering system, oil-filled shock absorbers, new axle carriers, hex wheel mounts at the front and rear, new steering arms, and much more. The model can be built in two different wheelbases (265 mm or 280 mm) simply by flipping the front lower control arms and modifying the steering. A shorter wheelbase makes the model more agile on the racetrack, while a longer wheelbase allows for a smoother ride. The Tamiya Egress 2013 is a modern variant of the high-end racing buggy first introduced to the RC scene in 1989. It is based on the well-known Avante, but has been upgraded with special tuning parts. Numerous carbon and aluminum components ensure an extremely lightweight and stable chassis that can easily compete with modern racing buggies. New ball differentials and drive cups distribute engine power to the grippy spike tires with even less loss. A central one-way bearing maintains steering capability during braking, allowing the front wheels to roll freely. The long wheelbase and large oil pressure shock absorbers provide the 4WD buggy with stability and traction in rough terrain, and with optional tuning parts, the Egress 2013 can be further customized.

8. Tamiya Avante
When the TAMIYA Avante was first delivered in 1988, it took the RC world and thousands of fans by storm. Almost a quarter of a century later there is another Avante, the Avante 2011 on a modernised chassis. The 2011 version is limited to 333 units in Germany. The original fibreglass decks have been replaced by 2 mm thick carbon fibre decks, which increases stability. The chassis has been optimised for the installation of modern RC components. The rear shock tower is stronger and now also reinforced with carbon fibre. A cross connection between the right and left arm increases stability. The original steering knuckles have been replaced by strong and lightweight aluminium parts for improved performance. Polycarbonate bodywork, rear wing and side panelling are designed for tough off-road use. The packaging of the 2011 model has the same design as the original version. The "Avante" logo and the rear wing decals are unchanged. The other elements of the decal sheet have the modern Tamiya design.
