At the heart of the cooler is a copper block, precisely milled from a single piece and complemented by a precision-machined brass connection with nylon cover. A chrome finish increases the durability of the copper cooler and provides a smoother, shinier surface than conventional nickel plating.
The visual design of the GPU water cooler has been slightly modified. A new highlight is the Core emblem above the nozzle plate, which emphasises the affiliation to the Core series and visually enhances the design. The series also features high-quality brass connections that guarantee optimum quality and safety. The specially adapted aluminium back plate covers the entire rear of the copper cooler and ensures a clear and uniform appearance. The next generation - the Alphacool Eisblock Aurora water cooler for Geforce RTX 4XXX graphics cards. To effectively dissipate the enormous heat generated by this generation of graphics cards, numerous optimizations have been made to the water cooler compared to the previous model. The fin structure has been adjusted to allow for excellent water flow while increasing the cooling surface area. The modified nozzle plate with an improved inflow engine ensures optimal distribution of water across the cooling fins. Important note: The RTX 4080 Eisblock Aurora Reference cooler is not compatible with the Nvidia Geforce RTX 4080 Founders Edition. Technical highlights: The fin structure of this Eisblock cooler generation was developed in collaboration with Nvidia board partners. The fin thickness is 0.4 mm, and the distance between the cooling fins is also 0.4 mm. This ensures very good water flow while simultaneously increasing the potential cooling surface area.

More performance! In the development of the Eisblock Aurora GPX graphics card water cooler, emphasis was also placed on enhancing performance. In the first step, the cooler was brought closer to the individual components by reducing the thickness of the thermal pads to 1 mm. In the second step, the nickel-plated copper block was also made thinner. Instead of the previous 7 mm, it is now only 5.5 mm thick. The water flow within the cooler has also been optimized. All important components, such as the voltage regulators and RAM, are now cooled much better and more effectively by the water. All of this results in a significant increase in cooling performance.

The core product series from Alphacool is characterised by high quality, outstanding performance and a uniform, functional design language. The core of this cooler is the copper cooler, which is milled from a single piece of copper together with the end terminal. The fine finish in combination with the hard and resistant chrome plating of the entire copper radiator meets the highest quality standards. The two integrated G1/4" brass threads, left in chrome, stand out visually from the terminal and are one of the key points of the new design language that is evident in all products of the Core series. The aluminium backplate, which is adapted to the design, forms a unit together with the terminal and convinces with a clear and homogeneous appearance on the back of the radiator. The lighting consists of digitally addressable RGB LEDs that illuminate the entire cooler evenly and well. The technical development can be seen in the water supply to the nozzle plate and in the optimisation of the jet plate itself. This was completely redesigned on the basis of many simulations and practical tests in cooperation with board partners. The fin thickness and distances have been changed, the cooling surface has been enlarged and the water flow to the core components with the greatest heat output has been optimised. The enclosed special soft heat-conducting pads with up to 7 W/mK adapt perfectly to even the smallest tolerances.
