Electromagnets are a great way to create linear motion for pushing and pulling. This smaller magnet is designed for controlling switches and levers and operates directly at 5V, making it an excellent addition to embedded projects. It has a stroke of about 4.5 mm and features 2 M2 mounting holes on its body.
The wire leads are approximately 2 inches long and come with a 2-pin JST PH connector.
Note: The mounting holes on this magnet actually have a diameter of 1.6 mm, allowing for a thread to be created for an M2 screw. Additionally, while the datasheet specifies a stroke of 6 mm, the actual stroke appears to be closer to 4.5 mm.

Looks like a button, but it's actually a joystick!
This joystick has 5 switches built in: 4 switches report movements in all four directions (including diagonal), and the 5th is activated by pressing the joystick.
It is excellent for applications such as menu controls, but also for games.
The pitch is not exactly 2.5 mm, but the joystick can easily be used in breadboards by slightly bending the pins.
