With the HHX Complex models, Sabian has expanded its popular HHX series with very musically sounding, versatile cymbals. The enhanced treatment with small hammer marks provides a noble shimmer and excellent resolution, reminiscent of the significantly more expensive Artisan types. Shrill, bell-like, or overly aggressive tones are foreign to these instruments; instead, they lean towards a darker and more balanced sound. Nevertheless, the dynamic range is wide and should work well even in moderately loud rock bands.

A small raw bell ensures a quicker response. A completely new way of AAX hammering - much more visible on the surface of the cymbal due to the larger, rounder shaft - results in a thinner, more complex, and slightly darker crash. At the same time, more highs are introduced into the sound, leading to a broader frequency range. For drummers, this means brighter highs and more complex lows.
