Top CPU that doesn't have to hide, and with a stock cooler it doesn't either.

First of all, you don't have to worry about gaming with this CPU, it can easily keep up.

Desweteiteren: Overclockers will have a lot of work for nothing with this CPU, which is pretty much maxed out from the factory; it only gets hotter, not really faster.

Cooler: The supplied cooler is strong enough so far (looking forward to the summer), but loud (depending on the person, disturbing the concentration!), more aggressive cooler curve prevents annoying back and forth of the RPM in office mode.
And don't be alarmed: installation is a choke!
If you want peace and quiet and have the money, you should upgrade.


(Un)conditionally BIOS version with latest AGESA version on MB to get optimal performance! Please read how-to and risks first ;) (The joys of new product lines xD)
Currently boost on all cores simultaneously under production load (stock cooler; temp OK, Gigabyte x570 Aorus Pro: AGESA 1.0.0.3 ABBA): 4.3-4.35 GHz, so just under the promised 4.4 GHz, but respectable. (How much depends on Silicon Lottery and how much on AGESA, ka.) [Update follows as soon as I have AGESA 1.0.0.4 B on it].

Last but not least, the hated RGB: The RGB ring of the cooler can't be controlled via the motherboard, you'd have to use the USB port and have another RGB software (from CoolerMaster) installed, just keep making rainbows...
