Gentle light pulses are applied to the hair roots, which leads to hair not regrowing after several treatments. The IPL technology has been available to specialists since 1997. Objective studies have shown a significant reduction in hair after just 3 to 4 treatments spaced two weeks apart. Refresh the treatment every 4 to 8 weeks to maintain results. Inspired by the different needs of each body area, Philips Lumea Prestige is the only IPL device that offers uniquely curved attachments for optimal results on various body parts. The attachments differ in combinations of shape, treatment window size, and filters. This Philips Lumea Prestige provides a special treatment for the body (legs, arms, abdomen), for the face (upper lip, chin), as well as for the bikini area and underarms. Philips Lumea Prestige features 5 light intensity settings, and the SmartSkin sensor makes it easy to choose the right setting for your skin tone. The SmartSkin sensor always recommends the best setting for your skin type. Please note that the device should not be used if you have diabetes.
