About a year ago I bought an Asus Ultrabook at Digitec. More or less comparable specs, 13" screen and so on. While the performance of the device was acceptable and the design was also quite good, the typing on the keyboard of the Asus has bothered me enormously since the first day.
This was the only reason why I went on the hunt again to find a better keyboard that didn't have the same price tag as a Lenovo X1. I found what I was looking for in the Dell XPS 13. I've been using it every day for about a week now and it couldn't be better: TOP TOP TOP keyboard. Despite the typing height (or typing depth??) of only about 1.3mm, the stroke is tip-top OK. The device also scores points in other respects: It is beautifully finished, lightweight, the monitor is a joy to use, the trackpad works perfectly and all software (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Office 2016 and various other office software) runs smoothly. Battery is okay but not spectacular.
Dell has built a great device here, I would recommend it to anyone.
