Had so far only with the Playstation VR collected my virtual reality experiences and was "then" of the fly screen effect by the low resolution rather annoyed and also had little fun with the part.
Now Oculus Go is here and provides an amazingly great, completely cable and hardware-free VR experience. I won't go into the technical details here, you can read the very good report from the Digitec specialist. It should be said that the fly screen effect is still present, but hardly noticeable now. The device has a much higher resolution than the PS VR.
My most used apps and experiences at the moment:
- Wander (Google Earth & Street View combined).
- Star Drive VR coaster (procedurally generated roller coaster rides through space and across a sun).
- Everything about Jurassic World
- Netflix (you sit in a virtual cinema)
- Henry (VR short film)

What do you mean by "can be recorded with external data"? Can I connect a USB stick and watch my videos and films directly? Or is that only possible via WLAN?
No, that is not possible at the moment. But the Oculus GO is recognised by Windows PCs as an external drive (as a Mac user, I need the small programme "Android FileTransfer"). Then you can drag and drop the files into the right directories (photos, videos). Works perfectly. I use this regularly to download films from my Nikon KeyMission 360 (thanks to digitec for the great and as good as new promotional device) to the Go and watch them there :)
I use the Skybox app to stream movies from my PC or NAS.
