The S5 Max avoids falls, detects surfaces and heights, and prevents getting stuck thanks to a total of 14 sensors. The brushless motor provides a suction power of 2 kPa, ensuring that no dust bunny escapes the S5 Max. Additionally, No-Mop zones can be set up to prevent the S5 Max from accidentally mopping the carpet. Once the mop cloth is removed, these zones are deactivated, allowing the carpet to be vacuumed again. Cleaning schedules can be created and virtual No-Go zones can be established via the app. The Roborock S5 Max not only offers impressive suction power but also features a mopping function. For this purpose, a water tank is attached. The app allows for regulating the water flow, so the appropriate flow rate can be selected for each type of flooring. The powerful 5200 mAh battery enables a runtime of up to 150 minutes. When the battery is low, the robot navigates to the charging station and then resumes cleaning from where it left off.
