Samsung Galaxy S21
256 GB, Phantom White, 6.20", Dual SIM, 5G
After I bought the S21 5G with 256GB, my expectations were already high. My old model is a S7. Accordingly, a big step. After I had everything set up, the first system update from Samsung also came. After that, nothing was the same! The device now uses about 40% battery overnight - mind you - all connections are turned off, etc.... So there is no reason to use power for anything except standby. After contacting Samsung, I got the lame answer that I should reset the device. Reluctantly I did so. Of course, this also meant that I had to set up all eBanking accesses again. Unfortunately, the reset still didn't have the desired effect! Then the answer from Samsung again, that I should visit a technician. What is this all about? I have a brand new device for 899.- and after the first update it craps performance-wise! Does not work for me. I guess I have no choice but to wait for the next update and hope that it will be better. I am not satisfied! Phone is phone and does probably what it should. Battery and support from Samsung - not OK!
Why don't you return it? You have a 14-day right of return. I also had to do this with my Galaxy S20+ 5G. The thing was unusable because of the high battery consumption in standby mode. I will only consider Samsung again when they solve these problems or equip all devices with Snapdragon like in the USA.
Has the problem been solved in the meantime or how did the story continue?
