Active Noise Cancelling is the selling point for this headphone

Apart from the fact that if you don't consistently look through the specs here, which happened to me, it's not obvious that these are headphones whose cable is meant for Apple devices, I have a split opinion of this device.

Primarily,
the sound quality with noise cancelling switched off is really modest, not to say bad. With noise cancelling activated, the earpiece sounds completely different and has much more power and transparency. However, there is a slight feeling of pressure on the eardrum that is typical of ANC and there is a slight hiss. Nevertheless, the ANC works quite respectably. It is therefore advisable to always have "juice" with you, otherwise the listening pleasure suffers enormously. Unfortunately, the headphones tend to become shrill in some medium to higher frequency ranges, which can occasionally be a little unpleasant. The bass can be described as very powerful, but only with ANC switched on.

I don't have an Apple smartphone and therefore can't use the remote control, but I've never been happy with these "little weights" on the cable. I would therefore prefer it if Bose would simply include an ordinary cable and anyone who absolutely wants a remote control should be able to buy it separately. Just remember that there are also devices outside the smartphone and tablet universe.

If you have high demands on the sound, these headphones are definitely not for you. Those who want ANC will have a hard time getting past these headphones in this price range.

With the Bose QC15, it came without a remote control on the cable. However, the cable with microphone cost an extra 25 francs on the Bose website or dealers. I would rather not regret it, only I wonder why the headphones are designed for Android or iPhone and not both.
