The more professional you are, the better your chances of getting your desired card. The good thing is that if you really want a new graphics card, you'll get it and can drop the news quite casually with a cool poker face.
The GeForce RTX 3090, which is just as quiet, costs about twice as much as the RTX 3080, but is only about 10 per cent faster. This makes the GeForce 30 flagship only worthwhile for gaming enthusiasts.
