The H6essential is our most robust handheld recorder and a true powerhouse for recording. With 32-bit float recording on six tracks, the H6essential offers unprecedented quality and maximum versatility.

Thanks to the 32-bit float technology and the two A/D converter stages, the H6essential delivers an extremely high dynamic range during recording. This allows creatives to capture audio material perfectly and without distortion at any time.

The four XLR/TRS combo inputs feature extremely clean Zoom preamps, while the included X/Y microphones can handle sound pressure levels of up to 135 dB, equivalent to a taking-off jet.

The H6essential's 3.0 capsule system has been redesigned to support the 32-bit float technology, providing creatives with additional options to use just the right microphone for their recordings.

The H6essential features a waveform display that allows you to see the audio signal during recording.

With the help of the BTA-1 Bluetooth adapter, you can pair with your iOS device to remotely start recording, adjust the mix, visualize waveforms, and change other settings.
