Without a computer, the integrated decoder can export files directly in ambisonics B format. The H3-VR can also record binaural stereo files in WAV format with up to 24-bit/48 kHz. The binaural stereo format provides a hyper-realistic spatial image that complements 2D productions with a three-dimensional audio component.

Additionally, the H3-VR is capable of recording conventional stereo files that can be played back not only through headphones but also through speakers. The Zoom Ambisonics Player software, available as a free download, easily converts ambisonics audio recordings into 5.1 surround files with predefined speaker mapping, which can be exported directly to your video or audio editor for synchronization.
