Sam's eyes close before bedtime and open in the morning when it's okay to get up. The desired times can be set. It is also possible to adjust the length of the sleep time, such as for a nap. The LCD display changes color to indicate whether it is morning or evening. Both analog and digital time are easy for children to learn and understand. For older children, there are three sounds to choose from, each with adjustable volume. The dimmable night light can either stay on permanently or turn off by itself after 5, 15, or 30 minutes.
