The Yihua 982 V is a high-end professional soldering station and the most powerful version of the popular 982 series. It utilizes modern C245 heating technology, offering more power, larger soldering tips, and higher temperature stability compared to previous models (e.g., 982 III) – all at an attractive price-performance ratio. With the C245 standard, both classic soldering tips and special melting adapters for threaded inserts in plastic can be used, making the station ideal for the 3D printing and prototyping sector. The device combines a soldering station, holder, cleaning ball, and heating element storage in a compact, integrated design. With a power of 60 W and a nominal voltage of 110–240 V, the soldering iron reaches the set temperature in just 2–4 seconds. The temperature can be adjusted directly via buttons on the handle – without a separate control panel. Precise calibration allows for exact adjustments to environmental influences or different tips. During operation, intelligent energy-saving functions ensure efficiency: when the iron is placed down, the temperature automatically lowers to 200 °C, and after 5 minutes of inactivity, the device enters sleep mode. The LCD display clearly shows the set and actual temperature as well as the operating status.
