The Electrovoice EKX-15P is an active 15" speaker powered by a robust 1500W Class-D amplifier. With a peak output of 134dB, this highly versatile speaker delivers a substantial sound pressure level that should be more than sufficient for many live applications. When combined with the EKX-15SP or EKX-18SP subwoofers, it forms a highly efficient, powerful, and mobile PA system. Additionally, the slanted cabinet design allows the Electrovoice EKX speakers to be used as stage monitors.

With the EKX series, Electrovoice introduces a new line of mobile and professional speakers that represent the highest standards of technology and efficiency within their class. Featuring highly efficient 1500W Class-D amplifiers, intelligent thermal monitoring, an intuitive LCD control panel, and the new SST (Signal Synchronized Transducer) waveguide design, the Electrovoice EKX series impresses with solid craftsmanship, a consistent concept, and excellent performance metrics. All speakers in the Electrovoice EKX series are available in both active and passive versions.

Particularly interesting for users are the new DSP features of the Electrovoice EKX line: in addition to a 3-band EQ, visual monitoring of the limiter, input level, and master volume, there are four presets for different application scenarios (Music, Live, Speech, and Club). Furthermore, four additional preset storage slots are available, which can be freely configured and personalized.
