The HS5 2-way bass-reflex studio monitor from Yamaha is an active nearfield monitor designed for professional audio applications. With a precise sound image and a linear frequency response, it offers a balanced reproduction that is essential for mixing and mastering in studios. The integrated tone control allows the bass and treble response to be adjusted to suit the acoustic conditions of the room. The monitor is equipped with Vortex Sound Control technology, which reduces noise by up to 6 dB and thus ensures clear sound reproduction. With a total output of 70 watts and a frequency response of 74 Hz to 24 kHz, the HS5 is able to accurately reproduce both low and high frequencies. The robust construction with a low-resonance MDF housing ensures long-lasting use and minimises unwanted resonances.
