Product details
Exquisite textiles from the world's finest art collection at the Ashmolean Museum. A fine new calendar from Flame Tree. The Ashmolean Museum was established when the wealthy antiquarian Elias Ashmole (1617–1692) donated his collection to the University of Oxford in 1682. This was then combined with an older university collection that included, among other things, the lantern of Guy Fawkes. Today, the Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology houses Western and Eastern art, antiquities, a plaster cast gallery, and a coin room. The beautiful textiles in this calendar come from the extensive collection. Informative texts accompany each piece, and the date block shows the views of the previous and next month. Printed on FSC-certified paper, with plastic-free packaging.
