Word for Today - the traditional calendar with biblical reflections for every day of the year. It is published by the three major free churches in Germany: BEFG, EMK, and FeG, and is available in three different formats: book, large print, and tear-off calendar.

This calendar provides a devotion for each day of the year based on a selected verse from the reading plan of the Ecumenical Working Group for Bible Reading.

Short stories or in-depth reflections help to better understand the content and meaning of the verses and to apply them to everyday life. This was the work of three editors and over 100 authors over the course of a year.

The devotions are complemented by appropriate quotes, song verses, prayers, and the twelve monthly sayings.
