Wooden Camera RED Komodo Accessory Kit (Base)

The Wooden Camera RED Komodo Accessory Kit (Base) is a straightforward accessory set for the RED KOMODO, which includes the LW 15mm base plate and the top handle kit. The LW 15mm base plate features 15mm openings for rods positioned at the correct distance from the center of the lens. ARRI-standard M6 rosettes are located on both sides with 1/4-20 threaded holes. A 3/8-16 ARRI accessory mount is also positioned on the right side of the camera. The baseplate includes an upper dovetail compliant with ARCA Swiss standards, featuring a central screw channel and a vertical lens support post system. Attach a 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 screw to the bottom of the camera and position the 1/4-20 rod pin vertically beneath the lens adapter, such as the Canon RF on PL Mount Pro. The lower dovetail slot is ARRI-standard for mounting to an ARRI dovetail or the included quick dovetail. When the quick dovetail is attached, the combination of the baseplate and camera can be used with an ARRI standard bridge plate, such as the Quick Release Bridgeplate (19mm) or Quick Release Bridgeplate (15mm Studio). The top handle kit features a top mount that attaches to the camera body with two 1/4-20 screws and provides a central ARCA Swiss dovetail slot as well as 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes for accessory mounting. The included top handle slides into the ARCA slot, allowing easy access to the camera's control screen. The upper shoe mount can accommodate camera lights and microphones, while the side 15mm opening can hold the UVF Mount V2. There are 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 ARRI accessory mounts at multiple locations and 15mm rods at the front for attaching lens motors and more.
